Security is part of the architecture.

Our principles guide how technology is designed, changed and operated across the Deshi Tech group.

Security principlesPublished September 2026

Our position

Security is not a claim that a system can never fail. It is a disciplined way of reducing exposure, recognising change and preparing a measured response. We favour clear boundaries, observable systems and recovery plans that can be validated.

Identity and access

Least privilege

Access should be limited to the systems, actions and time required for a defined role. Administrative access should remain separate from ordinary use.

Strong authentication

We favour unique credentials, secure credential storage and additional authentication factors wherever the service and operating context support them.

Infrastructure and change

Layered boundaries

Network, application and account controls should complement one another. No individual control is treated as a complete security boundary.

Measured change

Production changes should have an explicit target, a known owner, current evidence, validation criteria and a practical recovery route.

Visibility and response

Useful telemetry

Logs and monitoring should help operators understand health, access and material change without collecting unnecessary personal information.

Recovery readiness

A backup is useful only when it is protected, current and restorable. Recovery planning is considered alongside prevention.
